All applicants must fully comply with relevant documentation required for respective visa categories. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Therefore, before visiting Visa Application Centre, applicants are requested for their kind cooperation in making sure that the recommended documents are provided and sorted out as per the checklist.

1.In order to schedule an appointment for Hungary Visa Application Center, please visit https://www.vfsglobal.com/Hungary/Iran/ and follow the instructions in Schedule an Appointment section.
• Applicants need to be present at the Visa Application Center not earlier than 15 minutes before and not later than 45 minutes after their scheduled appointment time.

2. The required documents for any type of visa -such as Tourism and Family Visit, are listed in the Required Documents section at https://www.vfsglobal.com/Hungary/Iran/

3. The reservation dates of hotel, flight ticket, and travel insurance duration should overlap each other.
• Multiple Entry visa demands Multiple insurances or an insurance that at least covers the first travel.
• Travel insurance with minimum coverage of 30.000 Euros for the whole of stay is required.

4. The processing time for Hungary Visa Application submitted at VFS generally takes 22 days.

5. Translation of documents into English are only valid for 1 year (12 months).

6. For those members of family who are unemployed or financially supported by family head, providing a copy of employment documents, bank account statement and documents of the family head is required.

7. In order to visit family (brother or sister), providing invitation letter issued by Hungarian Immigration Office is mandatory.

8. In order to visit students who are studying in Hungary, providing resident card, residence address, and lease contract is necessary. In case of intending to stay at the student’s house, providing landlord’s permit is required.

Visa Application Fee:
Hungary Visa Application fee is as the following:
• For adults: 80 Euros
• For 6 to 12 year-old children: 40 Euros
• For children below 6 years: Free
• VFS Global Service Fee: 30 Euros per application

Important Information:

-Until further notice, the use of a courier service for returning your passport(s) is mandatory. This measure has been taken to reduce the number of people in a particular Visa Application Centre.

-As per the instructions from Embassy application will only be accepted if all the documents are complete.

-Appointments are mandatory for all applications. Applicants cannot walk into the Visa Application Centre without a prior valid appointment under any circumstances.
To confirm your appointment, you would have to pay an amount of IRR 2,000,000 which will be refunded in full in bank account when you honour the appointment and validly submit your application. Applications will not be accepted if the appointment is booked under the wrong visa category and the booking amount will not be refunded.
Appointments once booked cannot be cancelled. However, you are allowed to reschedule your appointment twice at no additional cost and up to 2 working days prior to your scheduled date (subject to availability of appointments). The applicant has to schedule a new appointment in case of any additional rescheduling, no-show or if submitted documents were incomplete/not available/incomplete submission for any reason on the allotted date. Where the booking fee will be payable and no refund available on the previous amount paid.
Appointments scheduled after 1400 Hrs. will be treated as Prime Time Appointment and would be charged 40 Euros extra over and above the Service Fees.
