Dear Visitor,
Kindly acknowledge the information on this page before visiting VFS Global for visa application.

All applicants must fully comply with relevant documentation required for respective visa categories. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Therefore, before visiting Visa Application Centre, applicants are requested for their kind cooperation in making sure that the recommended documents are provided and sorted out as per the checklist.

1.In order to schedule an appointment for Netherlands Visa Application Center, please visit https://www.vfsglobal.com/Netherlands/Iran/ and follow the instructions in Schedule an Appointment section.
• Applicants are requested to manage scheduling appointments 3 months before their intended date of submitting visa application.
• Applicants need to be present at the Visa Application Center not earlier than 15 minutes before and not later than 45 minutes after their scheduled appointment time.

2. All visa applicants -even infants, must be present in the interview session.

3. The reservation dates of the hotel, flight ticket, and travel insurance duration should overlap each other.
• Multiple Entry visa demands Multiple insurances.
• Travel insurance with minimum coverage of 30.000 Euros for the whole of your stay is required

4. Translation of documents are only valid for 6 months.

5. The required documents for any type of visa -such as Tourism Family Visit, Business are listed in the Required Documents section at www.vfsglobal.com/netherland/Iran

6. Visa application form must be filled out in English or Dutch. Please note that section 37 and the last page of the form need to be signed by both parents for children below 18 years old.

7. Copy of the first page of signed passport (individuals below 18 years old are not required to have their passport signed)

8. Official translation of Birth Certificate into English or Dutch

9. Copy of any Schengen, Canada, America, England, New Zealand, or Australia visa that has been issued within the last 3 years

10. Certified translation of employment documents including Letter of Employment, leave entitlement, the last 3 pay slips, and insurance are required.

11. Enrollment Certificate for university and school students

12. Certified translation of title deed (if available)

13. Bank account statement of the latest 3 months and Certificate of Financial Ability issued within the last 2 weeks

14. The intended date of travel should not be sooner than 15 days and not later than 3 months after submitting application at the Visa Center. Additionally, the duration of your stay shall not be more than 90 days (3 months). In case of intending to visit other Schengen countries during the travel, applicant’s entry and the most of travel time should be in the Netherlands.

15. Applicants are provided with extra services including photocopying, photographing, courier, and SMS service at Visa Application Center. Payment must be in Euro.

Business Visa

1. Visa Application Form has to be filled out.
Please note that the inviting person’s details must be carefully and precisely written in section 32.

2. Invitation letter has to be provided in the letterhead of the partner company in Schengen area and signed by CEO.

3. The itinerary of the travel days mentioned in the invitation letter should be overlapping with the airline ticket and hotel reservations.
Please note that the invitation letter should specify the place of accommodation throughout your stay in Schengen area. This could be a hotel or the inviting person’s house.

4.Other business visa requirements are the same as Tourism visa.

Visiting Family and Friends

1.Visa Application Form has to be filled out.
Please note that the inviting person’s details must be carefully and precisely written in section 31.

2. Private invitation letter requires the details of the inviting person, the applicant’s details, travel itinerary, expenses, and accommodation. It must be signed by your host, i.e. the person you intend to visit. Then, the invitation letter should be submitted to the Dutch municipality by your host where s/he is registered for legalizing his/her signature. The invitation letter is only valid for 6 months after its issuance by Dutch Municipality.
If family and/or friends do not provide the applicant with private accommodation, s/he must provide hotel reservations.

3. The applicant needs to provide inviting person’s resident card or passport, recent payslips or other proof of income (the 2 latter if available).

4. Other requirements are the same as Tourism visa.

Visa Fees and VFS Global Service Fees are applicable per application. The fees are as following:
• Above 12 years old: 80 Euros
• 6 to 12 year-old children: 40 Euros
• Minors below 6 years: Free
• VFS Global Service Fee: 21 Euros per application

Important Information:

-As of 09th December 2022, no Covid fee is charged and courier service will be made an optional service for applicants.

-As of 17 September 2022, there are no longer any COVID-19 entry rules for travelers to the Netherlands. You can enter the Netherlands without proof of vaccination, proof of recovery or a negative test result.

-You may experience longer waiting times to get an appointment. And it may take longer than 15 days to process your application.
This is because a growing number of applicants wants to travel to the Netherlands after COVID travel restrictions have been eased worldwide.
The number of available appointments will be expanded as soon as possible. New appointment slots will be added to the online appointment system regularly. If no dates are available, please try again later.
Plan your trip well in advance. And make sure you have all the documents ready for your appointment.

-Appointments are mandatory for all applications (unless your application concerns a visa approval after appeal). Applicants cannot walk into the Visa Application Centre without a prior valid appointment.
To confirm your appointment, you will have to pay via online payment an amount of 7,000,000 Iranian Rial (IRR). This amount will be refunded in full when you honor the appointment and validly submit your application.
Cases when you don’t get a refund:
If you don’t show up for your appointment, the booking amount will not be refunded.
Applications will not be accepted if the appointment is booked under the wrong visa category and the booking amount will not be refunded.
Appointments once booked cannot be cancelled. However, you are allowed to reschedule your appointment twice at no additional cost and up to 2 working days prior to your scheduled date (subject to availability of appointments).
The applicant has to schedule a new appointment in case of no-show for any reason on the allotted date. The booking fee will need to be paid again.
Appointments scheduled after 1400 Hrs. will be treated as Prime Time Appointment and would be charged 40 Euros extra over and above the Service Fees.
