\nKindly acknowledge the information on this page before visiting VFS Global for visa application.<\/p>\n

All applicants must fully comply with relevant documentation required for respective visa categories. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Therefore, before visiting Visa Application Center, applicants are requested for their kind cooperation in making sure that the recommended documents are provided and sorted out as per the checklist.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.In order to schedule an appointment for Switzerland Visa Application Center, please visit http:\/\/www.vfsglobal.com\/Switzerland\/Iran\/<\/a> and follow the instructions in Schedule an Appointment<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Applicants need to be present at the Visa Application Center not earlier than 15 minutes before and not later than 45 minutes after their scheduled appointment time.<\/p>\n

2. The required documents for any type of visa -such as Tourism and Family Visit, are listed in the Required Documents<\/strong> section at www.vfsglobal.ch\/Switzerland\/Iran<\/a><\/p>\n

Required Documents:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

3. The reservation dates of hotel, flight ticket, and travel insurance duration should overlap each other.
\n\u2022 Multiple Entry visa demands Multiple insurances
\n\u2022 Travel insurance with minimum coverage of 30.000 Euros for the whole of stay is required.<\/p>\n

4. Translation of documents into English are only valid for 6 months.<\/p>\n

5. All documents and copies must be in A4 size.<\/p>\n

6. All documents must be officially translated into English. The stamps of Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Foreign Affairs are not required.<\/p>\n

7. Certificate of Financial Ability and bank account statement of the last 3 months must be issued no earlier than a week (7 days) from the appointment.<\/p>\n

8. Invitation Letters must include inviting person\u2019s details and signature as well as applicant\u2019s details.
\n\u2022 Providing identification documents of the inviting person is mandatory.
\n\u2022 If the inviting person is a Swiss citizen, his\/her resident card or passport must be provided.
\n\u2022 In case the inviting person holds Swiss residence permit, s\/he has to provide a copy of resident card that is valid for the whole of applicant\u2019 stay, and a copy of non-Swiss passport<\/p>\n

9. In cases of minors, the application form has to be signed by both parents. If the minor travels alone or with only one parent, the consent of the parental authority done by a notary public along with the translation are required.<\/p>\n

10. Applicants must possess a passport that is valid for at least three months (90 days) after the date of exit from Switzerland.<\/p>\n

11. Travel itinerary (ticket booking and hotel reservations) should not be sooner than 15 days after submitting visa application at visa center.<\/p>\n

12. Presence of children below 12 years old is not mandatory.<\/p>\n

13. Applicants need to provide copies of a) travel insurance, b) the first page of passport, and c) any Schengen, Canada, America, England, and Australia visa that has been issued within the last 3 years.<\/p>\n

14. Travel insurance must be originally stamped by the respective insurance company, unless the insurance has been issued online.<\/p>\n

15.Retirees' documents: Retirement order plus salary increase of three months.<\/p>\n

16.The photo on the visa application form should be new (max. 6 months old) and 80% of the photo should be the face.<\/p>\n

Visa Application Fee:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Switzerland Visa Application fee is as the following:<\/p>\n

\u2022 For adults: 36,800,000 IRR
\n\u2022 For 6 to 12 year-old children: 18,400,000 IRR
\n\u2022 For children below 6 years: Free
\n\u2022 VFS Global Service Fee: 33,14 Euros per application<\/p>\n

Please note that all fees should be paid in cash (Euro and Rial) only.<\/p>\n

Important Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n

-Visa applications for long-term visas must be sent directly to the Swiss Embassy in Tehran.<\/p>\n

-Appointment is required for all applications. To confirm your appointment, you would have to pay an amount of IRR 2,000,000<\/strong>. This amount would be refunded to your bank account when you honor the appointment and validly submit your application on the date and time allotted.
\nAppointments once booked cannot be cancelled. The applicant has to schedule a new appointment in case of no-show or where documents to be submitted were incomplete or not available or submission could not be completely processed on the allotted date for any reason. However, do note that you are allowed to reschedule your appointment twice and up to 2 working day prior to your scheduled date, (subject to availability of appointments), free of cost (a total of two attempts). Any further changes of the date or becoming No-Show will be considered as a new appointment, where the fresh booking fee would be payable and no refund available on the old amount paid Applicants cannot walk into the Visa center without a prior valid appointment under any circumstances.
\nApplication will not be accepted at VFS Global if Appointment is booked under wrong Visa category and bookings amount will not be refunded.
\nAppointments scheduled after 1400 Hrs. will be treated as Prime Time Appointment and would be charged 30 Euros extra over and above the Service Fees.<\/strong><\/p>\n
