Dear Visitor<\/strong>,
\nKindly acknowledge the information on the this page before visiting VFS Global for visa application.<\/p>\n

All applicants must fully comply with relevant documentation required for respective visa categories. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Therefore, before visiting Visa Application Centre, applicants are requested for their kind cooperation in making sure that the recommended documents are provided and sorted out as per the checklist.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.In order to schedule an appointment for Greece Visa Application Center, please visit https:\/\/www.vfsglobal.com\/Greece\/Iran\/<\/a> and follow the instructions in Schedule an Appointment<\/strong> section.
\n\u2022 Applicants need to be present at the Visa Application Center not earlier than 15 minutes before and not later than 45 minutes after their scheduled appointment time.
\n\u2022 Applicants can submit both short term (Type C) and long term (Type D) visa applications at the visa center.<\/p>\n

A) Visa Type C (Short term visa)<\/strong><\/em>
\n1. The required documents are listed in the Required Documents <\/strong>section at https:\/\/www.vfsglobal.com\/Greece\/Iran\/<\/a><\/p>\n

2. Visa application form must be filled in English.<\/p>\n

3. In cases of children below 18 years old, the application form has to be signed by both parents. If the minor travels with only one parent, the consent of the parental authority done by a notary public along with its translation are required. If the minor travels without the father, providing certified translation of father\u2019s birth certificate as well as a copy of his passport is mandatory.<\/p>\n

4. The reservation dates of the hotel, flight ticket, and travel insurance duration should overlap each other.
\n\u2022 Travel insurance with minimum coverage of 30.000 Euros for the entire period of the intended stay is required.<\/p>\n

5. Applicants must provide
\n\u2022 hotel reservation(s) with dates and destination(s) matching those of the application. Full contact details of the hotel should be included.
\n\u2022 flight reservation(s) a) with a departure date no earlier than 15 days from the application day and b) covering all intended flights (domestic or international)
\n\u2022 If reservations have been made by a travel agency, the agency needs to have them officially stamped.<\/p>\n

6. Invitation Letter
\n\u2022 In case the applicant is invited by a person, the invitation should be officially legalized by the Greek Police. Copy of the ID (in case of a Greek citizen) or the residence permit (in case of a non-Greek citizen staying in Greece) should be attached. Full contact details of the applicant should be included.
\n\u2022 In case the applicant is invited by a company\/ law office\/ university etc., the invitation should be written in the form of a formal letter and officially stamped and signed. Full contact details of the applicant should be included.<\/p>\n

7. All required documents\/ letters\/ certificates etc. should be in English. Translations should be verified by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Justice.<\/p>\n

8. Certificate of Financial Ability and bank account statement of the last 3 months must be issued no earlier than a week before the appointment.<\/p>\n

9. Work Certificate
\n\u2022 Employees are requested to provide employment letter which must be issued no earlier than a month before the appointment, and has to include a) the length of the contract (together with expiry date, which should be at least three months after the end of the requested visa), b) the applicant\u2019s salary, c) the applicant\u2019s current position, d) no objection to leave of absence from the employer (with dates and destination matching those of the application).
\n\u2022 Full contact details of the employer\u2019s company, its unique National Identification Number (\u201cshenaseh melli\u201d) and the announcement of its establishment in the government gazette should be included.
\n\u2022 For official and government employees in whose employment letter being \u201cofficial or government employee\u201d is included, ending date of contract is not required to be included in the letter. For employees with an unlimited contract, the word \u201cunlimited\u201d must be included in the letter.
\n\u2022 Company managers, CEOs, members of the board and shareholders are requested to provide: a) a letter from the company stating the applicant\u2019s income and position, together with b) the company constitution or its announcement in the government gazette. Full contact details of the employer\u2019s company its unique National Identification Number (\u201cshenaseh melli\u201d) should be included.
\n\u2022 Students are requested to provide proof of enrolment in the current academic year of the school\/ university they are currently studying
\n\u2022 Self-employed applicants are required to provide a valid work license along with its certified translation.
\n\u2022 Pensioners are requested to provide either pension certificate or order of pension.
\n\u2022 Medical doctors are required to provide Medical license along with its certified translation.
\n\u2022 Lawyers are required to provide their license to practice law.<\/p>\n

Fees<\/strong>
\nVisa Fee and VFS Global Service Fee are applicable per application.
\nThe fees are as following:
\n\u2022 Visa Fee for applicants above 12 years old: 26,080,000 Rials
\n\u2022 Visa Fee for applicants below 12 years old: Free
\nThe applicable visa fees are in Euro but payable in Rials (Bank Card).
\nEach applicant shall be charged a service charge of Euro 27 per application in addition to the visa fees.
\nAll fees are non-refundable.
\nVisa Waiver:
\nThe visa fee shall be waived for applicants belonging to one of the following categories:
\nFamily members of Greek\/EU citizens;
\nHolders of diplomatic and service passports;
\nschool pupils, students, postgraduate students and accompanying teachers who undertake stays for the purpose of study or educational training;
\nresearchers from third countries travelling for the purpose of carrying out scientific research as defined in Recommendation No 2005\/761\/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 September 2005 to facilitate the issue by the Member States of uniform short-stay visas for researchers from third countries travelling within the Community for the purpose of carrying out scientific research;
\nrepresentatives of non-profit organizations aged 25 years or less participating in seminars, conferences, sports, cultural or educational events organized by non-profit organizations.<\/p>\n

B) Long Term Visa<\/em><\/strong>
\nRequired documents for long term visa application are as following:
\n1. Medical Certificate which must be issued and stamped by a government hospital no earlier than a month before the application<\/p>\n

2. Police Clearance Certificate which must be issued no earlier than a month before the application<\/p>\n

3. Travel Insurance Certificate (a) valid for all Schengen countries or Greece only, b) a multiple insurance covering 365 days, c) with a coverage of no less than \u20ac30,000)<\/p>\n

4. Birth Certificate of the family head along with its certified translation as well as his\/her employment letter
\n\u2022 In case of providing the certified translation of family head\u2019s birth certificate, the translation of birth certificate of the other members of family is not required.<\/p>\n

5. Long term visa applicants are not required to provide proof of enrolment.<\/p>\n

Legalization:<\/strong><\/p>\n

To get the required documents Legalized from Greece Embassy in Tehran, Iran now all the applicants from Islamic Republic of Iran can submit their documents at VFS Tehran Greece Application Center.
\nPlease note:
\nThe documents issued by the authorities of Islamic republic of Iran must first be translated & authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Department of Justice. Only after they may be submitted at VFS office in Tehran.
\nThe Translation and Verification stamps should not be older than 3 months on the date of submission.
\n*In the case of PCCs (Police Clearance Certificates), the Translation and the mentioned stamps should not be older than 1 month
\nThe Legalization and submission must be requested either by the document holder or legal representative with Authorization letter from the original document Holder. In case of a representative, the person delivering the documents must hold personal identification, copy of the identification of the applicant and Authorization Letter signed by the applicant.

\nNeither the Greece Embassy in Tehran, Iran nor does VFS Global guarantees that the submitted documents will be Legalized. All VFS fees are Non-refundable.<\/p>\n

Certificate(Visa, Residence Permit and Blue Attestation):<\/strong><\/p>\n

To get the Certificate (Residence Permit and Blue Attestation) from Greece Embassy in Tehran, Iran now all the applicants from Islamic Republic of Iran can submit their documents at VFS Tehran Greece Application Center.
\nPlease Note below documents should be submitted:
\nTicket Reservation
\nOriginal Passport
\nOriginal Expired Residence Permit. The Expiry date of the residence Permit should be between 01 December 2019 & 31 December 2020.
\nApplication should be submitted at VFS at-least 10 days prior from the date of intended travel.
\nDocument Legalizations & Certificate (, Residence Permit and Blue Attestation) are accepted on Sundays to Thursday between 08:00 and 14:00 (There is no need for appointments)<\/p>\n

Kindly be informed that :
\nAn Iranian Citizen who has applied in Greece for Renewal of his\/ her Residence permit or has a Fingerprint appointment in Greece for his\/ her Residence permit applicant should apply for a Visa. Certificate will not be issued in such cases.<\/p>\n

VFS Global Service Charge
\nApplicants applying at the Greece Visa Application Centre in Tehran for Legalization or Certificate for Expired Residence Permit shall be levied a Service Charge of 10 Euros per document\/ Certificate (Inclusive of all taxes) payable in Cash at Greece Visa application Center Tehran.
\nPlease Note:
\nThe applicable Legalization fees are in Euro but payable in Rials (Bank Card).
\nThe applicable visa fee in Iranian Rials is as per the current Embassy exchange rate. The same is subject to change without notice.
\nThe fee is non-refundable.
\nThere is an Optional SMS facility available at 4\/- Euros per application.
\nThere is an optional Courier Facility available at 10 Euros per application Inside Tehran and 14 Euros per application outside Tehran.<\/p>\n
